About The Owner
I set up Terrific Dog Services in 2006 after having worked with dogs since childhood. Personally, I have owned five different dogs. I have been dog sitting/walking/training since I was 14, starting with my neighbors' dogs before expanding to dozens of clients across Fairfield and New Haven counties. I have won two business awards from the FFA for my work in 2009 and 2010. I strongly believe that a home without a dog is no home at all.
My Personal Dog Experiences
Tucker is a Pitbull who was found on a New Haven street hit by a car. His back leg was broken and he required major surgery to repair. He was also underweight. After some patience and a talented vet, he is fully recovered running around with all his dog friends.

Titan is Tuckers little brother, he is a Lab, Rottweiler mix from Puerto Rico. He was severely afraid of everything including women, blankets, and leashes. He is still a work in progress but is making great strides to learning to trust people. He is now comfortable being wrapped in a blanket, accepting food and pets from women, and cuddling up next to strangers on the couch.

Ginger is a Golden Retreiver who had killed two other dogs before I adopted her. She showed severe aggression towards any other dog and would foam at the mouth, show her teeth, and lunge just walking by another dog. Now she has lived happily with 4 cats, some fish, and occasionally goes to the dog park and plays with the neighbors dog.

Rosie was a bull terrier most likely used as a bait dog. She was severely underweight, badly beat up, and was found tied to a tree with a muzzle taped to her face. She was deaf and blind when I adopted her. After patience and hard work she was always excited to play and run around. For her full story, click here

Tabby was our first family dog and quite the Houdini. She was a German Shepperd Husky Mix from the ASPCA.  She always loved to try and escape in snow storms to run around and play in the snow!
